One Sage 50 Company represents one building.
The customer reference is both a tenant Id and unit Id. Its format must be letters followed by number with an optional suffix of additional letters. Example: EGS21, BRI07, BRI19A. The full id is used as tenant id in Dwellant. The part without the suffix is used as a unit id.
When a tenant is replaced in a unit and the new tenant is added to Sage 50 their reference has to be the unit id and suffix to make it unique. The name of the old tenant is suffixed with Xes (at least 3).
For example Sage 50 has the following record:
- BRI07 Mr E Green
- Later the tenant changes in that unit so they have to update Sage 50 to look like this:
- BRI07 Mr E Green XXXXXXXXXXX
- BRI07A Mr C T Smith & Mrs K L Smith
- In the Addresses & Contacts every customer should have an address with the description "Property Address". The first line of this address must contain the unit name. If this address is not present then the unit id will be used as unit name in Dwellant.
Important - DO NOT ADD an internal email to a users account! this will merge that user into the employees profile.
Sage 50 must have a user in each company that Dwellant can use to connect.
