Csite Fire Door Survey

Dwellant has created a fire door survey which asks all relevant compliance questions on communal and unit fire doors. The asset types used for this are “Fire Doors – Communal” and “Entry Door”

Communal fire doors are created directly on Csite, for entry doors to units you can use a feature on Dwellant.

Create entry doors

This feature creates entry door assets for all units in the building or blocks.

On the building go to Compliance > Assets > List

Use the “Create entry doors” button.

To create all entry doors select “Create all remaining entry doors” otherwise select a block or unit to create entry doors for.

Complete the fire door type and sub type fields which will be loaded for all doors created.

Save

This should create an asset group called “entry door group” where all the individual entry doors will be saved to and visible on Csite

Log into Csite and select the building to complete a fire door survey on

Adding a communal fire door

Go to the asset page

Select the + icon on the block or area you want to apply the fire door to

Add a “Fire Door – Communal” asset

This asset can be renamed if needed

Go back to the survey page and select Fire Door Survey

Add a QR code to the door than use the QR code icon to scan and register the asset. This will save the inspection details to the same URL the QR code uses.

You can also use the camera icon to add a picture of the fire door.
