Adding single events as part of Compliance module

Use this approach to add a single Repeated Event to a building. To set up multiple events in a building from scratch, use Spreadsheet Setup. Go to the building where you wish to set up Repeated Events.

Compliance Dwellant 

 Go to Compliance > Planned Maintenance Event > List

Click "Add "

Select an optional template to base your new event on. Click OK. You can skip this step and complete the next 100% from scratch.

Complete the form - Part 1: 

Template = completes fields based on PME template event

Name = needs to be unique within the building (and Block) 

The Next or previous event date = designed to accept either date because, when a building is set up from scratch, the Property Manager may only know the previous event date and not wish to calculate the next themselves. 

Repeated event entity type = Posting or Request

Who should handle this? = You can select: your own Managing Agency / Building / Contractor

Assigned group = Groups with the above organisation

When ready, click "Show"

Complete the form - Part 2:

Frequency = Days/Weeks/Month/Years

Category name =  How is this tracked? Check your internal notes

Importance = Statutory/Recommend/Best Practice

Audience = Who do you want to see this?

Is document required = A must for many checks

Document library type*= This will automatically map the attached document into the document Library

*Not available in Classic Dwellant

Create new posting or request with every event? = If unticked, the previous request will be reopened.

This makes tracking performance a little harder, as you will have to check comment history, but it is great for weekly checks, as you have lots of requests.

Message template = Completes the subject and description for the request. Guide

Lead time in days = determines how many days before a request is created

Primary Block = Allows linking to existing blocks

Repeated event type = Fixed (subsequent iteration will be based on original date) or Variable (subsequent iteration will be based on event completion) 

Survey Type = This will add the need for a C-Site survey to be completed

Note: Any requests will be created overnight after the PME is created.
