Any admin user for the Managing agent is able to close down, delete, or cancel contracts through the portal, given these privileges are turned ON for a Managing agent at Dwellant level.
To cancel a contract, go to building level, and click on Compliance / Contracts / List. Click on 'Actions' and select 'Cancel Contract' option. Please note that this is only visible to the admin users at the Managing agent level.
For contracts where associated invoices exist, there is a Close action that will set the status to Closed and update associated budgets.
For the Managing agent with Delete contract option, please note that Contracts once deleted on Dwellant cannot be retrieved. The only course of action for the deleted contract is to be re-raised.
If a contract is Due For Renewal, there is the option to 'Do Not Renew'. If selected, it enters the 'Deliberately Not Renewed' state.
