Cancelling Contracts

Dwellant allows its customers to cancel or delete contracts raised through our software.
Please be aware many customers prefer to restrict the ability to delete contracts to only administrators.
Here are the list of actions which can be taken to remove contracts on Dwellant:
| Action | Outcome |
| Delete | For Contracts where there are no invoices. Delete "soft deletes" them and their allocations related POs. However, this cannot be used once invoices are allocated to the contract. |
| Close | For contracts with action that will set the status to Closed and update associated budgets. |
| Cancel | Sets the end date of the contract to today, and email the contractor. It will also cancel POs/Budget allocations. The Cancel option also allows you to transfer to another contract if this has been setup in parallel |
