Inbound Email requests

Inbound email mappings can be used for Email-in Requests They are defined at the Managing Agent (Invoices or Requests) or Building (Requests or Postings), Setup / Core data / Inbound email mapping. We might need to switch this on for you (just ask our CS team).

Adding a mapping

• Click Add

• • If an email address with a customer-specific domain is used e.g. requests@mypropertymanager.co.uk you will have to forward emails to inbound@system.dwellant.com

• Set type to Requests

• The option of Verbose Mode applies to Requests and means the creator of the request will receive updates about the request. This will send updates to the original user. 

• Set the Sender address filters to Anyone

• Click OK
