This guide walks through the steps to check when a building isn’t appearing in Controlled Properties in the correct environment after being set up in TRAMPS.
1. Confirm the Building Setup in TRAMPS
Before escalating, make sure your building has been set up on TRAMPS correctly and the following is in place:
-
Analysis Type Field: Must contain
DWLNT - Status Code Field: Must be set correctly with environment code.
- Client Information: Ensure the client record is complete and loaded to Dwellant (client name, code, and address). If it is a new client, this is likely why it isn't syncing. Ensure you have completed the setup steps or tell Customer Service that this is likely the issue when escalating.
- Building Record: Full address and correct client linked
2. Check Data Gateway
Next, check that the sync process isn't showing any errors:
- In Dwellant, go to Setup Data Gateway Plugin Configurations
- Click Filter and make sure the status of each plugin has no exception.
- If there is an exception, this is likely due to duplicate data. Please contact us with the exception details for more information so that you can fix it.
3. Gather Evidence
Once all items above are confirmed, please include the following in your support request:
- Screenshots of the TRAMPS setup, including the DWLNT field and Environment field
- Screenshots of client and building records
- Confirmation that all checklist items have been verified
- Confirmation that all Data Gateways have run successfully
4. Escalation
If the building still isn’t appearing after all setup checks are complete, send your screenshots and notes to Customer Service. Include:
- Building name and code
- Which environment the building should appear in
- Confirmation that the Fax and Environment fields are set correctly
Tip: It helps to clearly label screenshots and include one per step for quicker review. If you're sending screenshots of Dwellant, please include the URL.
