Steps to setting up a building Part 1

When you log in to a building for the 1st time you will need to confirm the following data screens.

Remember it takes 24hrs for the user and units to show.

Building Defaults

Organisation Name - This will be the name displayed on your portal

External reference - This is generated by the accounting package - Do not edit

Default Request Handling group - Which group in your managing agent will receive the requests

Auditing company - Auditing Companies

Invitation enabled - this is triggered when you send your invites in a later step Sending Invites to all residents at once

Is vat Excluded - Tick this is VAT is not relevant to the invoicing on this building 

Payments online type: leave this as default

 

Building Location

Adding Block Detail (MUST HAVE FOR BUILDING SAFETY ACT)

Name: How is the block known onsite?

Block Owner: Who owns the block?

Management Company or RMC: Add the name of Mgt Company or RMC

Type: Physical Iis it a real block) or Logical (is it used to admin perposes)

Block Height:

  • Low = Under 11 meters 
  • Medium = Between 11 and 18m 
  • High = Over 18m with at least 2 flats

Relevent: Does the building safety Act Apply

Adding your units to the blocks will help you message them using our posting tools.
