When you have a new building populated with users, you will want to send them an invitation to join the website. You can do so by sending an email invitation or generating PDF invitations ready for printing and posting.

There are a few methods of sending out invitations. They are as follows:

• Setup > Users > Send invitations (Email)
• Setup > Users > Create pdf invitations (Pdf)
• Setup > Users > User / Download pdf invitation (Pdf)

Setup > Users > Select Action > Edit user > Select Action > Edit > Message to send to user (Email)

When you generate pdf invitations, these will create a request under Requests & Message for you to Action. Go to Select Action > View full details. There will be an attachments tab which you can click on to download the invitations.

For each pdf method, you can choose the type of user you want to generate invitations for; for example, tenants or owners or both. Depending on the setup, owner invitations will tend to have access to more information as these users will pay service charges and have property documents.

Inviting Tenants

Dwellant provides a generic building invitation key for all properties. Users can use this key to invite their tenants or co-residents onto Dwellant without these other residents having access to the unit's accounting information.

This invitation key can be found by building admin users under Setup / Organisation preferences, under the Invitation key field.

Residents can find this option under the BUILDING INVITATION KEY tab of their account settings
