Summary
Postings are used to share information with residents. Postings may be added by Building Administrators, Concierges and Residents, depending on the setup of the building on our system. Postings make up the content of your buildings’ site and are used to notify residents about building works, emergencies or events related to the building.
Types of Postings
News
If a posting is added to a news topic, it will get all the benefits of being a news item. The posting will appear on the front page and depending on the resident’s email settings, will be emailed to the residents in a newsletter.
General
If you wish to add more information to the site that isn’t news then you can add a posting to another topic relative to different events or subject e.g. Finances or Local Area. Building details like Estate Rules and Regulations are useful to have on your site but are not necessarily newsworthy.
Vote
Votes are a great way to get feedback from residents about a topic. Votes can be public or private and the results will be published if an end date has been given. Voting needs to be enabled for the building’s site.
