When you delete a posting, the posting will be removed from its original topic and will be moved to the archive topic if the organisation site has one. Users will not be able to see this posting again unless it is retrieved from the archive.
The Archive
The archive stores all deleted and expired postings. The archive can be found as a topic in the postings section. Usually, this is only visible to administrators, but it can be edited by Dwellant staff to allow users to see the content.
Editing archived content will display a message informing you that saving the posting will return it to its original topic. When a posting is archived or deleted Dwellant logs the user details so that it is possible to see who performed the action.
Existing archived postings will need to be deleted manually from the Archive topic in order to be removed.
Any post in the Archive will be deleted after 2 years.
